The Morab breed is limited in the colors it can have to what colors the Arabian and the Morgan breeds already carry. But that actually gives the Morab a far ranging color palette with which to work. By combining the two breeds, it has given the Morab many more color possibilities than the parent breeds have individually. For instance, there are very few grays in the Morgan breed, but there are lots of them in the Arabian so if you want a gray Morab, it is not hard to find one. On the other hand, there are no *dilute* colors in the Arabian breed (palomino, buckskin, cremello, etc.), but the dilute does exist in the Morgan breed, albeit in small numbers. This means that you can have a palomino Morab if you want one. There are also a handful of dun Morgans so dun is beginning to be seen in the Morab. The Sabino is quite wide spread in both the Arabian and Morgan so the Morab is already seeing "pintos" being born. There are even verified silver dapples in the Morgan breed now so that, too, is available to the Morab color lover.
